Baroque Flute after Grenser (original in Dresde circa 1790) convertible pitch 415Hz, 432 Hz ou 442 Hz

- made of ebony colour resin with solid silver key , ivory color ring and cap.

With this instrument, I offer a satisfactory solution to the problem of pitch conversion with spare joints. It was created and optimized at 432 Hz, intermediate pitch, which makes it possible to reach pitches of 415 and 442 Hz by substitution of the 2 joints, with minimal distortion compared to the instrument completely rebuilt at the target pitch. This solution has the advantage of retaining the overall proportionality relationships of the original instrument.
It is equipped with an adjustable screw cork, to allow fine adjustment of pitch and octave ratios.
The result is a especially balanced and even instrument, with intonation sensibly improved.

Delivered with a padded fabric cover .
