I created this instrument based on an original by Th. Stanesby, with the aim of achieving a more powerful recorder that would accept more airflow. The bore diameter has been increased, as well as the width of the window and windway. My aim was to offer a more consensual alternative to the very open recorders in the style of those of the late E. Meyer. The result is a broader and more generous instrument, but still accessible and easy to play.
