F Alto recorder after Stanesby, ebony-colored resin.
This hand-finished instrument, available in 442 Hz and 415 Hz pitch, incorporates the characteristics of Thomas Stanesby's historic recorders : curved labium and windway, undercut holes, cedar block, complex bore, conical block, etc.
The ebony-colored resin produces an elegant sound, incomparable with that of injected plastic recorders. The spelling is excellent in all registers, with easy and fast high register. These recorders also offer the assets of synthetic polymers: durability, total insensitivity to water, high resistance to knocks and scratches, etc.
